I help those struggling with emotional and life challenges.

In my private practice, I have helped clients overcome challenges around anxiety, depression, burnout, procrastination, and relationship issues. Please refer to my areas of expertise to explore further the typical problems I can help with.

Each of us will bring something unique to therapy, and that’s why I enjoy using a personalised approach. As an integrative CBT therapist, I can draw on a mixture of evidenced-based CBT and psychotherapeutic modalities to help navigate and overcome your challenges.

Approaches such as REBT, ACT, Schema Therapy, CFT, and DBT establish a variety of psychoeducational understanding and skills that have proved transformational for the clients I work with. Please review CBT Therapy with Rex to learn more about what to expect.

I enjoy building strong, thoughtful, and compassionate relationships with the clients I work with, where they can dictate the pace, be listened to without judgment, and be guided in the direction they want to head.

My route to becoming a therapist was largely influenced by my own experience of sitting in the other chair.

In my professional life, I have always gravitated towards work centred on building relationships. Being able to now combine this with a deep appreciation for the transformative power of therapy is immensely interesting to me.

Losing a parent during my teenage years, coupled with my battles with anxiety and depression, led me to discover therapy. CBT played a crucial role in helping me navigate these challenges. I learned to recognise and confront self-defeating attitudes, empowering me to make healthier, more authentic choices amid emotional turmoil. This journey ultimately equipped me with a deeper sense of equanimity and hopefulness.

It is a pleasure to witness clients experience similar positive transformations, and I continue to enjoy using my expertise to guide them toward healthier and happier lives.

Despite having made some significant steps in my therapeutic growth, I recognise that I remain a work in progress.
